Why
Invest
in
Ralston
College?

The
Moment
We
Are
In

Higher education is undergoing a profound crisis of confidence. Universities have grown larger, more expensive, and less certain of their purpose. Intellectual seriousness has often given way to credentialism; formation has yielded to fragmentation. Ralston College was founded to respond to this moment directly.

In just four years, Ralston has proven that there remains a deep hunger for rigorous, tradition-rooted, intellectually courageous education. With over 3,500 expressions of interest, a highly selective admissions process, and exceptional post-graduate outcomes, the College has demonstrated both demand and durability in a short time.

This is not a theoretical project. It is operational, growing, and delivering results. The question now is not whether Ralston can work. It is how boldly it can scale.

What
Makes
Ralston
Worth
Building

Very few new institutions of serious higher education are founded in the United States. Fewer still attempt to build a fully residential, degree-granting humanities college from the ground up. The barriers are formidable: accreditation, faculty recruitment, campus acquisition, regulatory approval, capital formation, operational infrastructure, brand trust, and student outcomes, all must be established simultaneously.

Most such efforts either remain think tanks, online platforms, or boutique programs nested inside existing institutions. Building an independent college — one that grants degrees, maintains academic rigor, operates physical campuses, and aspires to permanence — is extraordinarily rare.

Ralston College has done precisely that. And it has done so against extraordinary odds.

Within
just
a
few
years,
Ralston:

This is not a concept on paper. It is an operational institution with graduates, audited financials, a functioning campus, and a defined academic culture.

Importantly, Ralston did not begin with excess resources. It began with clarity of purpose.

Why
Your
Investment
Matters
Now

Ralston has completed Phase I — proving the concept.

It is now in Phase II — strengthening and substantiating the model.

The next stage is decisive.

1. Accreditation & Institutional Permanence

Full accreditation will secure long-term stability by enabling growth through scale, including the launch of an undergraduate program (Phase III).

Accreditation will position Ralston not as a promising experiment, but as a permanent fixture in American higher education.

2. Endowment & Financial Independence

Since founding, the College has operated tuition-free, entirely supported by philanthropy.

The long-term model moves toward a balanced structure of tuition, endowment, and annual support.

Investment now helps secure an institution that safeguards:

  • Faculty excellence
  • Student scholarships
  • Immersive language programs
  • Residential intellectual community

This is the difference between survival and independence.

3. Cultural Leverage

Ralston’s public lectures, podcasts, and courses already reach tens of millions.

Your investment not only educates dozens of graduate students each year—with undergraduate programs in development to expand this reach to hundreds—it also strengthens an intellectual voice that contributes to national and international discourse.

The leverage is extraordinary.

The
Team
You
Are
Backing

Ralston is being built by a lean, high-agency team of scholar-leaders and operators doing real institutional work under real constraints.

Ralston is guided by Dr Iain McGilchrist as Chancellor, and retains continuity with its earliest momentum through Dr Jordan Peterson, the College’s first Chancellor and now Chancellor Emeritus.

Ralston’s Board of Visitors also includes a wide range of serious scholars, advisors, and public intellectuals who lend counsel, credibility, and intellectual companionship to the project, along with many guest lecturers to the program (including, among others, James Hankins, Douglas Murray, Peter Thiel, Stephen Wolfram, and Bret Weinstein).

The
Opportunity

New institutions rarely succeed. Fewer still demonstrate traction this quickly. Ralston has:

— Proven demand

— Demonstrated outcomes

— Secured strong early philanthropic backing

— Built physical and intellectual infrastructure

— Established a coherent educational philosophy

The opportunity now is to solidify and scale.

Investing in Ralston College is not simply supporting a school. It is participating in the renewal of higher education itself.

If you’ve ever wished you could help build a serious institution from the ground up—not a campaign, not a moment, but something designed to endure—this is one of those rare chances.

Read our Impact Report (2022-2025) to see more fully what’s already been achieved and to learn where we are going now.

If you’d like to explore supporting Ralston's mission, we invite you to schedule a conversation with our founding president, Dr Stephen Blackwood by contacting brynn.oconnor@ralston.ac.

The time to build is now.
