 Alan Dershowitz

Alan M. Dershowitz is a world-renowned lawyer, legal scholar, and author. He is a Professor Emeritus at Harvard Law School (Felix Frankfurter Professor of Law, Emeritus). Mr Dershowitz was educated at Brooklyn College and Yale Law School, and at the age of 28 became the youngest full professor in Harvard Law School’s history. As a lawyer he has been at the front lines of several of the most significant legal and constitutional cases of the past half century. These cases have involved the Pentagon Papers, the impeachments of Presidents Clinton and Trump, Bush vs Gore, and Julian Assange, among many others. He continues to consult actively—in many cases bro bono—on both transnational and domestic criminal and civil liberty cases.

Mr Dershowitz is also an accomplished scholar and writer, having published more than one thousand articles in many of the world’s most prominent journals and newspapers. He is likewise the author of more than forty non-fiction works and three novels, some of which have been translated into multiple languages and become #1 New York Times Best Sellers. His recent books include The Case for Liberalism, Defending the Constitution, and Cancel Culture. In addition to his unparalleled legal career, Mr Dershowitz has written, taught, and lectured about history, philosophy, psychology, literature, mathematics, theology, music, sports, and even delicatessens. He has lectured at the Kremlin, the Knesset, the French National Assembly, the House of Lords, and at many great universities. He is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, a fellowship at the Center for the Advanced Study of Behavioral Sciences, and the William O. Douglas First Amendment Award. A fiercely non-partisan defender of individual liberties the world over,

Alan Dershowitz

remains a leading voice on the perennial issues of free speech, free expression, and the rule of law.
