How to apply
Ralston College's MA in the Humanities welcomes applications from those who hold a Bachelor's degree, have a strong record of academic achievement, possess a desire to reflect deeply on fundamental questions, and are willing to question their assumptions and engage with the thoughts of others in a spirit of intellectual charity and good faith.
Applications for the 2027-28 cohort of the Master's in the Humanities program are now open.
Once you have submitted the above form, you will receive an email directing you to the full application. The application will ask you to submit:
- a CV or resume
- a copy of your unofficial transcripts
- a personal essay of no more than 1000 words in which you describe your interest in and aptitude for this demanding graduate program
After an initial review of applications, promising applicants will be asked to provide contact information for two references who can speak to their academic abilities and character.
Finalists will be invited to an interview with the College faculty, which will be conducted over Zoom.
Applicants who submit a complete application by the Priority Deadline will normally receive a decision in February; those who apply by the Final Deadline will normally hear from the College in March or April. We expect to have communicated an initial decision to all applicants by the end of May, although those placed on the waiting list may receive their final outcome later.
