Michael D. Hurley is Professor of Literature and Theology at the University of Cambridge, and a Fellow and Director of Studies at Trinity College, Cambridge. He serves as the External Academic Dean at Ralston College, overseeing and supporting the organization and implementation of the College’s academic curriculum, teaching, and assessment.

Professor Hurley has published widely on literary form and style, and on the interrelations of literature, philosophy and theology. Concurrent with his academic position at Cambridge, he has been awarded visiting positions at Harvard, All Souls College, Oxford, and the Sorbonne; he is also Chairman of The Christian Heritage Centre at Stonyhurst.
